Responsibilities

  • Application support of several critical banking applications (2nd level support)
  • Suggest and implement operational improvements like automations
  • Coordination and communication between incident managers, service owners, 3rd level support and other IT and business stakeholders
  • Administration of change requests for application-related process fulfilment
  • Engage in application projects with a view to operational aspects
  • Data cleansing of the systems
  • Documentation of application operations

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in 2nd level application support
  • Good knowledge in Unix
  • Experience with Java application servers and Oracle databases
  • Experience in Temenos T24
  • Understanding of job scheduling systems (Control M, AWA Automic)
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Knowledge Shell scripts and SQL queries
  • Experience with Windows servers
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Good German language skills
