Responsibilities
- Build, enhance and manage a global a state-of-the-art API Gateway and Streaming platform in the financial industry
- Enable and guide application teams to integrate their applications via the platform´s capabilities
- Develop Kafka applications and automate various tasks
- Manage the platform lifecycle from design to production
- Closely collaborate with application teams: collect feedback and relentlessly improve the product offering
Requirements
- Experience in platform engineering with APIs and streaming technologies
- Experience in Kafka architecture, including topics, brokers, producers, and consumers
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, distributed systems, monitoring and automation
- Proficiency in Kafka APIs (Producer, Consumer, Streams, Connect API) or API Gateway Knowledge
- Experience with Kong or Apigee
- Strong skills in Java, Go or Python
- Familiar with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, PHP)
- Very good English language skills
