Responsibilities
- Analyse, develop and implement innovative automation strategies and solutions for an existing job scheduling environment (Automic, Python, REST API, Oracle databases, Linux) enhancing efficiency and reliability
- Bring in own ideas and approaches to improve the area
- Create and evaluate potential solution designs
- Develop new automations and integrate new tools to scale the current job development and deployment processes
- Drive standardization and compliance across projects
- Support larger IT projects leveraging more scalable workload automation and job scheduling solutions
Requirements
- Several years´ experience in software development and engineering, preferably in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience in infrastructure-related software solutions and automation
- Good knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON, YAML)
- Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Experience in job scheduling (e.g. Automic, Control-M, Autosys etc.)
- German language skills
